The teachers/staff are very conscientious, responsive, caring and loving. They have received specialized training and instructions in the area of child development.
All staff have been fingerprinted and cleared as required by the state licensing. Periodically, the staff receives a C.P.R. and First Aid training provided by an authorized agency.
Dee has been the director of Caring Hearts Preschool since 1989. She has masters degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelors degree in nursing. Dee worked as a registered nurse in a hospital setting for fifteen years prior to taking the role of director of Caring Hearts. She has two daughters, one son, and one granddaughter. Dee is a generous, caring, and creative individual who is passionate about early childhood education. She enjoys the performing arts, spending time with family and friends, and spending time with her granddaughter. Since taking the position as director, she has remained steadfastly committed to providing quality childcare.
Genevieve has been working in child care for over a decade. But has had a passion for children her whole life. She holds a BA in Child Development with a minor in Spanish. She hopes to start a master’s program in education soon. She has four children of her own, who she loves spending any free time with. She enjoys singing, reading, and learning new languages. Genevieve has always been intrigued with different cultures and hope to travel the world someday.
TeacherRose has been with Caring Hearts since 2007, but has worked with children for many years. She attended a seminary in the Philippines, where she studied Christian education and child development. She worked as a second grade teacher in the Philippines for 24 years, and then moved to US with her husband. She has worked with young children since then, and has been a stable, loving, and nurturing teacher in the infant room.
Debra is an energetic, positive, and enthusiastic individual. She has worked in childcare for over ten years. Caring for children has been her passion since she was very young. Debra’s organization and communication skills as well as her flexibility and natural leadership have served her will in her role as assistant director. She has held this role for the past six years. In her spare thime, she enjoys making memories wiht her two children and husband. She particularly enjoys all things Disney, beach vacations, and traveling.
SubstituteAlicia came to Caring Hearts when she first enrolled her 2 children in the infant room. She enjoyed volunteering her time in the classroom and decided to enroll in child development classes, and now teaches and works with all classes. Her smile and energy is contagious.
Amy has been part of Caring Hearts since November 2014. She was able to seamlessly integrate herself with the children and rest of the staff. She has brought new ideas and creative activities to share with the classrooms. Amy is also attending college to complete her degree, and enjoys hiking, concerts, swimming, and skiing.
Sara has been working part time at Caring Hearts since 2013, while pursuing her degree in early childhood development. She enjoys working in the infant and two year old classroom. Sara loves to plan art projects and work with the young children to complete them. Her loving and sincere personality is a perfect fit for her profession. She enjoys reading, watching movies about the early to mid 1900s, and synchronized swimming.
TeacherSharada has been with Caring Hearts since 1996. She excels at preparing her children for Kindergarten, and has taught pre-Kindergarten for 25 years. We’ve often heard from graduating families just how seamless the transition to kindergarten was for their children thanks in large part to Sharada. She is a conscientious, reliable, and caring individual.
TeacherPam is a fully qualified teacher with a BS from India. Pam’s optimism and jubilant nature makes her classroom enjoyable and fun for the children. Pam has 2 boys and loves spending quality time with them, her husband,and extended family.
TeacherRaquel has been with Caring Hearts since 1998, and is lead teacher in the infant room. She is a gentle and effective leader for our infant staff and is very loved by the babies. Raquel enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with her 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
